Floor Calls: call where a floor goes

Think a floor is going up or down? Call it on the collection page and FloorFeed keeps score. No money is involved: it's a public track record.

  1. Open a collection and tap Make a call, right under the price chart. Or go straight to a price: right-click the chart on a computer, or press and hold it on a phone, then choose Make a call… at that point.
  2. The form opens with the chart still in view: under the chart on a computer, as a short sheet at the bottom of the screen on a phone. A price you picked on the chart is only filled in as a suggestion, and you can change it. While the form is open, tap the chart to move your target; it's drawn on the chart as your call.
  3. Pick Over or Under, a target price (at least 5% away from today's floor) and when it's due: 1d, 3d, 7d, 14d or 30d.
  4. Add why, if you like, and tap Make the call.

Other members' calls are in the Floor calls panel further down the page (on a phone, scroll down; on a computer, it's in the right-hand column). Its Make a call button opens the same form on the chart. If a collection has no chart yet, or you've switched to its table, Make a call still works: type the price. It only goes away when FloorFeed has no floor for the collection, because a call couldn't be scored.

A call hits the first time FloorFeed's floor reaches your target before it's due, and misses if the date comes first. Calls can't be edited or deleted, only withdrawn while open, and a withdrawn call counts as a miss, so nobody can hide the ones going badly. You can have 5 open at once.

A hit only counts if you didn't help it along: if a wallet linked to your account bought or sold in that collection while the call was open, the hit settles as a miss. Only you see why (Your Feeder Score says how many); everyone else sees a plain miss, so it never points at your wallets.

Tip: Your calls build your Feeder Score, ranked on the leaderboard at floorfeed.io/calls once 5 have settled. See "Feeder Score" below.
