Minting a drop

Each drop has its own page with the art, every stage with its times, price and per-wallet limit, how much is minted and how fast, and how many proven flippers are in.

  1. Pick a quantity (up to the stage's per-wallet limit). The page shows the total, your coin on the drop's network and about what the network fee will be.
  2. If you're short on that network, it says by how much, counting the network fee: even a free mint needs a little gas. "Move ETH to <network>" opens a transfer with the shortfall plus a small cushion. While you're short, the page checks your balance by itself (it says Checking your balance, with Check now beside it) and Mint appears as soon as the funds arrive, however you sent them. No reload needed; it checks again when you come back from another app or tab, and pauses after 10 minutes until you do or press Check now.
  3. Tap Mint. OpenSea builds the mint transaction and FloorFeed runs it against the chain as you first, so a mint that would fail shows up before you pay gas. Allowlist stages are checked against your wallet here.
  4. Confirm in your wallet. Activity follows the mint, and the NFT appears in your real portfolio when it confirms, usually within a minute.
Mooncats drop on Robinhood Chain: minting now at 0.010 ETH, 255 of 4,444 minted, quantity 1, your ETH on Robinhood Chain 0.0012, Move ETH to Robinhood Chain
Networks
Minting works in FloorFeed on every network it trades on, Robinhood Chain included. Drops on other networks, or stages priced in another token, get the same page and finish on OpenSea.
Solana drops
Minted with your Solana wallet, one at a time. FloorFeed builds the candy machine mint and checks it against Solana; your wallet confirms it and FloorFeed sends it. The cost includes the new NFT's rent (about 0.003 SOL) on top of the price. Stages with allowlists, token gates or other rules FloorFeed can't meet from your wallet finish on the project's own site.
FloorFeed's fee
None on drops: you pay the creator's price and the network fee, nothing more.
