Captain lock-in
Your captain normally scores x2. Lock it in before the week opens and a good week scores x2.25 instead. It's a commitment: once locked in, that captain can't change or be dropped that week, and there's no undo.
- Open your league, then My Team. Set your lineup in the Week lineup card.
- Under the Captain row, tap Lock in captain (or Save lineup and lock in captain if you changed something). Check the name, then tap Yes, lock in <your captain>.
- The row now shows a lock and x2.25, and the box says Captain locked in. You can still change the other four starters until Tuesday's lock.
- When
- From the moment that week's lineup opens until the week opens: Monday 00:00 UTC, a day before lineups lock on Tuesday. On Monday you can still edit your lineup, but without the boost.
- The boost
- x2.25 instead of x2 when the captain's week is positive. A negative week still counts x2, so locking in never costs more than not locking in.
- What it fixes
- The locked captain stays in the captain slot and on your roster that week: no swapping it out, no dropping it on waivers (a claim that would drop it fails).
- If it can't play
- If the locked collection isn't eligible when the week opens (a stale floor, fewer than 10 sales in 7 days, a floor under $5), the bench fills the slot as usual and the boost is gone for that week.
Tip: Projections show a locked-in captain at x2.25 when its projection is positive. Locking in also counts as setting your lineup for your lineup streak.
