Live drafts

A draft can be an event: everyone in the room at a set time, picking on a short clock. Our server keeps the clock, so your phone's time doesn't matter, and a pick that lands too late is refused and made for you.

  1. If you made the league: open it, and in the Your draft card pick a clock (30 sec, 60 sec or 90 sec) and a Draft time, then tap Save draft. Everyone in the league gets an alert with the time. You can change it until a minute before it starts, and any time before that tap Start in 2 minutes to start sooner (the league needs 6 teams).
  2. If you're in a public league: it sets its own time when it fills up, with 90 seconds a pick. Its page shows when.
  3. Before it starts, the league's page is the lobby: a countdown, who's here now, and Your queue. Tap Queue on the collections you want, in order. Turn on notifications while you're there.
  4. When it starts the page turns into the draft room by itself. Tap Draft on your turn, before the clock runs out. Two picks before your turn and when you're on the clock, you get an alert.
  5. Miss a pick and it's made for you: from your queue, then the best fit for your open spots. That also turns Autodraft on, so the rest of your picks are made at once. Tap the Autodraft chip to turn it off and pick for yourself again.
Your phone in your pocket
A phone stops a page that isn't open. When you come back, the room catches up at once, and if you've got notifications on you'll have heard you were up. The draft doesn't wait for you, though: keep your queue full.
If you lose connection
The room says Reconnecting… and keeps trying. The clock keeps running on our side.
If FloorFeed itself restarts
Nobody loses a pick to it: when we're back, the pick that was up gets its whole clock again.
Nobody there
The draft still finishes. Each missing manager costs one clock, then their autodraft picks at once.
The slow draft
An hour a pick, and it needs nobody present: you're told when you're up and again with 10 minutes left. Leagues that don't choose a clock stay on it.
